Albert Banks Sr., 67 of Port Arthur TX passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in Port Arthur TX.

A native of Kenner, Louisiana and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas.

He graduated from Lincoln High School Class of 1970, United States Army Veteran, retired
Refinery Machinist Pipefitter for over 30 years.

He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend.

A Visitation is scheduled from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 5920 Sam Ave, Port Arthur, Texas with Rev Gilbert Collins Officiating. Funeral Services under the direction of
Gabriel Funeral Home, Port Arthur, Texas.

Albert Banks is preceded in death with his maternal mother, Orelia Edwards-Banks, step-mother, Joyce Banks; father, Wilbert Banks, Sr.; two brothers, two sisters, one niece, and three nephews.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Bridget Banks-Amos (Kevin Amos) of Richmond, Texas; three sons, Corey Banks (Michelle Banks) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Albert Banks Jr. and Kendrick Banks of Port Arthur, Texas; four sisters, Mattie Banks, Mary Banks, Vanessa Thomas, and Wilma Banks, all of Port Arthur, Texas; three brothers, Carson Banks, Wilbert Banks, Jr and Wilbert Green, all of Port Arthur, Texas; eight grandchildren, special friend, Ms. Debra Harris, and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
