The top 10 — or actually top 21 — of the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C., has a Jefferson County, Texas, flair to it.

Andrew Landry, a Groves native who now lives in Austin, and Lamar graduate Shawn Stefani are among the 14 men tied for eighth in the PGA Tour event, each of whom shot a 66, 4 under par at Sedgefield Country Club.

Stefani rebounded from a second-hole bogey to birdie three of his next eight and added 1-under scores on Nos. 11 and 17. He’s looking for his second top-10 result of this season following a ninth-place run at the FedEx St. Jude Classic in June.

Landry made a strong move up the leaderboard on No. 5 with an eagle on the par-5 fifth. He birdied the eighth, 13th and 15th holes, but bogeyed No. 12.
