BEAUMONT — 5 Under Golf Center’s all new golf tournament kicks off St. Patrick’s Day weekend festivities and helps raise money for foster children in Jefferson County.

5 Under Golf Center is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long beginning Friday afternoon (March 15) with a scramble golf tournament along with themed food, drinks and prizes.

Teams compete in the outdoor bays using 5 Under’s Toptracer Range Technology.

Teams will get lunch, two buckets of beer, swag bags and the chance to win a grand prize valued over $1,200. Registration and lunch begin at 1 p.m. with teams teeing off at 1:30 p.m.

Additionally, there will be a Closest to the Pin Contest with awards for three divisions: Men’s, Women’s, and Seniors.

Contestants get 3 shots with the option to pay $3 for an additional shot at getting closest to the pin. The contest will conclude at 4:30 p.m. sharp followed by prizes and announcements.

A portion of proceeds will benefit foster children of SETX this through “Foster the Basket” — a seasonal volunteer program of the Jefferson County Child Welfare Board.

Tax deductible forms are available upon request. 5 Under Golf is also raffling off a prize basket that will directly benefit Foster the Basket.

Each $5 donation counts as one entry to win. Patrons will be able to donate online Friday, Saturday and Sunday by scanning a QR code at 5 Under.

Guests can also enjoy Green Beer specials for $5 drafts throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (St. Patrick’s Day) along with in-store discounts of up to 25 percent OFF select green merchandise.

A themed weekend brunch will be served from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (March 16th and 17th) featuring a special menu that includes Green ‘n Gold Mimosas, Irish Coffee, Irish Brunch Nachos with queso and corned beef, and Lucky Stack O’ Pancakes topped with fresh whipped cream and lucky, charming marshmallows.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended.

Exclusively for St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17), customers who wear green will get $17 OFF golf/game play after noon.

This special offer excludes solo play and rental clubs are not subject to discount.
