“I could not have been any prouder of these 10 swimmers,” Nederland coach Kathryn Davis said. “All of our swimmers exited the pool after their races with all of their energy exhausted. Exhausted to the extent of a couple needing my assistant with nearly blacking out. These swimmers have worked hard for this and their dedication showed here today. What else can a coach ask for? They gave it their all today, every single one of them. What can I say? I’m incredibly proud of my kids.”
