Alice Braquet Stevens Rolle, 89, of Freeport, Grand Bahama passed away on August 30, 2015 in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

Alice was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 14, 1925 to Nellie and Claus Busch.

She has been residing in Freeport for the last 20 years …where she met and married Wilfred Rolle.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Oniel Braquet and Wilfred Rolle along with her granddaughter, Cathy Jordan.

She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Jordan and her husband, Douglas of Warren, Texas, Gloria Richardson and her husband, Sonny of Jewett, Texas, her son, Edward Braquet and his wife, Donna of Grand Prairie, Texas along with 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Henry Busch and his wife, Eileen of Greenville, Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
