For the second consecutive Sunday, Andrew Landry cost himself money and FedEx points by posting an over-par round.
The Port Neches-Groves ex, able to make only one birdie, closed with a 73 to finish the week at seven-under-par 271 in the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. He dropped 20 places down the leaderboard into a tie for 59th.
A week ago at the Travelers Championship, Landry shot a final round 74 to tumble into a tie for 43rd.
The news was much better for Lamar ex Shawn Stefani. Stefani, trying to make a late push to get into the Fed Ex top 25, carded a 70 for 277 to tie for 35th. Stefani climbed from 139 to 133.
Nate Lashley, who got into the tournament at the last minute as an alternate, capped a remarkable week with a 70 for 263 to win his first tournament by six strokes.
The 36-year-old Lashley, whose parents and girlfriend were killed in a plane crash after watching him a college tournament 15 years ago, triggered an emotional scene at the finish.
