JANICE TODORA ON BOWLING: Manthei rolls 10th (or more) perfect game

Thursday night’s Energy Country Ford/Allstate League provided this week excitement as Eric Manthei pocketed his 12 shots in his second games for his 10th-plus career 300. Eric surrounded the 300 with a first game 289 and a third game 187 for a sweet 776 series to top all bowlers this week at The Max.
The top senior male bowler this week also bowled on Thursday night. Don Pastor was on his game with games of 252 205 and 275 for a massive 732 set.
Monday night’s Valero League had the ever steady Alice Barnes firing games of 204, 245 and 189 for rock solid 638 series. RaeAnna Todora was on top of her games this past week. RaeAnna hammered the lanes for games 242 212 and 278 for a 732 series.
Saturday morning’s Stars of Tomorrow had Brandon Bertrand leading the way with games of 215, 215 and 212 for a nice 642 series. Brandon and the rest of the youth are involved in their City Tournament this weekend.
