This week’s action at The Max had honor scores coming from five different leagues. So let’s get started. Come along for the ride; I promise it won’t hurt.

Here’s a blast from the past we haven’t heard from for a while. Bowling in the Thursday night Energy Country Ford League, Buddy Sepeda nailed the pocket with his 12 shots in his second game of the night for a perfect 300. Buddy had that game surrounded by games of 212 and 211 for a nice 723 set to lead the senior men this week.

This league also had an 800 series shot. Jamie Engle scorched the lanes by cranking out games of 236-289-279 for an 804 series.

Wednesday afternoon’s Golden Oldies saw Gloria Divello shoot 201-188-181 for a 570 series to lead all the senior women this week.

Wednesday night’s Fun Bowlers had RaeAnna Todora lighting up the lanes to the tune of 200-267-236 for a 703 set to led all the women bowlers this week.

Saturday morning’s youth league, Stars of Tomorrow, had Branden Bertrand rip games of 249-196-186 for a sweet 631 series.

Highlight of the week came from the Monday night Valero League. Branden Powell nearly shot himself a triplicate score as he unleashed the thunder by throwing games of 279-279-278 for a massive 836 series.

Men’s State continues this coming weekend in the Dallas area as several more teams from this area make the trek. Also, fall leagues are beginning to wind down. If each league secretary can get the championship team name along with each team member to Michelle or Janice, we will include it in the column.
