League Bowling at The Max resumed this past week.

The only exception was Valero League, which bowled thru the holiday season. Listed below are the highlights from that league for Christmas week and New Year’s week.

This past week all the leagues swung back into action. Monday night’s Valero League had the men’s senior bowler of the week. The Chief, C.J. Moity, fired games of 234-226-248 for a 708 series.

Wednesday night’s Fun Bowlers didn’t have any of this week’s leaders but had excitement provided by another Moity, James. In James third game of the night he pocketed the first 11 on his way to a 297-734 set.

Thursday night’s Energy Country Ford League had the remaining high bowlers of the week, Gloria Divello led all the Senior women by shooting games of 180-196-175 on her way to a 551 series. RaeAnna Todora led all the women this week as she tossed games of 213-256-200 for a 669 series. Back on top of the leaderboard, leading all bowlers this week is Brandon Powell. Brandon hammered the lanes for games of 279-254-237 for a very impressive 770 series.

City, state and national tournaments are just around the corner. I know of one group headed to Baton Rouge this week to bowl in the Women’s Louisiana State Championships.
