Port Arthur City wide Ushers Union will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 13-18 at Mount Calvary Baptist Church for the annual city convention. The Rev. Kirk Washington is host pastor.

The Oct. 13 message will be delivered by the Rev. Donald Frank. Oct. 14 is youth night with a message brought by the Rev. Darrel Anderson. October 17 will be the annual Mary Blackwell Newman Luncheon at noon at the Pompano Club.

Tickets for the luncheon are $30. Tickets may be purchased at the Pompano the day of the banquet, or call 409-549-0362. Speaker for the lunchon is the Rev. Aaron Reynolds.
