Groves native turned Nashville recording artist to perform at Logon

Nashville recording artist Hunter Tynan Davis, a Groves native and former football standout, will return to his Texas roots to perform all original Americana rock music at the Logon Café in Beaumont Friday.

Since graduating from Lamar State College-Port Arthur in 2010 and moving to Nashville, Tenn. to attend Tennessee State, Davis has been collaborating, recording and touring the country.

Davis recorded and released his first album, “You Are Here,” in 2014 with Grammy Award-winning producers and songwriters Gordon Kennedy and Ben Cooper.

Davis and Hyberger will perform at the Logon Café, 3805 Calder Ave. in Beaumont, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday.
