PN-G sophomore Karlei Hemler continued her stellar summer play, shooting rounds of 74 at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange on Monday and 75 at Babe Zaharias on Tuesday for a 36-hole score of 149 that won girls 15-18 in the final event on the STPGA summer Junior Tour. Cameron Keith shot 154 (75-79) to win Boys 15-18. In other flights, Jack Burke took Boys 13-14 with a 158 (81-77), Joe Penland III took Boys 11-12 with a 191 (99-92), and Elizabeth Townsend placed first in Girls 13-14 with a 189 (93-96). Highlight of the final day of STPGA play was an eagle 2 on Zaharias’ par 4, 4th hole by Xander Parks. The shot helped Parks win Boys 9-10, 9 hole modified with a 38.
