 Wednesday, Dec. 16

  • Third degree felony assault by choking-family violence was reported in the 300 block of West 14th Street.
  • Aggravated robbery was reported at Sunshine Grocery, 5899 W. Port Arthur Road.
  • A car battery was reported stolen from a vehicle at The Rock Outreach Center, 620 Woodworth Blvd.
  • A person was arrested for aggravated assault with a motor vehicle in the 1200 block of 12th Street.
  • A 55-inch LG LED flat screen TV, 40-inch Hisense H3E ultra thin flat screen TV, men’s 14 karat yellow and white gold wedding band with for to six diamonds and two men’s Citizen watches were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Seventh Avenue.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 4000 block of Memorial Boulevard.
  • A 32-inch Emerson flat screen TV was stolen from a home in the 2600 block of Fifth Street.
  • Five pairs of hair clippers and one straight razor were stolen from a person at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Ave.
  • A three-ton outside air conditioning unit was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Ninth Street.
  • A home in the 4000 block of Cobblestone Lane was burglarized.

 Thursday, Dec. 17

  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Evergreen Drive.
  • A residence at Stonegate Manor Apartments, 4239 Turtle Creek Drive.
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 1200 block of Sabine Avenue after a person was assaulted with a brick.
  • A Vizio 24-inch flat screen TV, valued at $160, was stolen from a home in the 800 block of Fifth Street.
  • Criminal trespass to a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Eighth Street.
  • Two pairs of white gold earrings, pair of silver earrings, silver heart bracelet, pair of triangle god earrings, silver and gold turtle ring, silver ring inscribed ‘mom,’ gold heart ring, gold heart earrings with diamonds, silver ring and silver bangles were stolen from a motel room at Towneplace Suites Marriott, 2700 Port Plaza Drive.
  • A home in the 1300 block of Fifth Street was burglarized.
  • A red Troybilt self=propelled 21-inch lawn mower and Worx battery operated leaf blower were stolen from a building in the 4700 block of 13th Street.

 Friday, Dec. 18

  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content of more than 0.15 in the 5200 block of Gulfway Drive.
  • A Kimber 1911 .45 pistol with one fully loaded magazine and Vanguard rifle with Swarsky scope were stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of FM 365.
  • A residence at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7609 Ninth Ave., was burglarized.
  • A vehicle reported stole in Dayton was located at Sherwood Forest Apartments, 4710 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.
  • Criminal trespass was reported in the 4200 block of Lansing Avenue.
  • A Stihl KM90 weed eater, valued at $319.95, was stolen from the 2800 block of Manning Street.
  • A murder was reported in the 1700 block of 10th Street.
  • Miscellaneous items were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of 29th street. The suspect gained entry by kicking in the front door.
  • A Friedrich air conditioning unit and Frigidaire refrigerator were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Galveston Avenue.
  • A purse and wallet were stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of FM 365.
  • An extension cord was reported stolen from a home in the 1300 block of 10th Street.
  • A 1995 Chevrolet Astro van was stolen from Home Run, 1403 Jefferson Drive.
  • A person was arrested for criminal trespassing at Southwood Crossing Apartments, 3901 Texas 73.

 Saturday, Dec. 19

  • B&A Wireless, 2433 Gulfway Drive, was burglarized.
  • A large safe was damaged and a portable DVD player, microphone and laptop were stolen at First Church of the Nazarene, 4004 Memorial Blvd.
  • A 2011 Nissan Maxima was stolen from Central Mall, 3100 FM 365.
  • Two people stole $2,328.07 from a cash register at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • A 2001 Buick Lesabre was reported stolen from The Greens Apartments, 3200 Turtle Creek Drive.
  • Deadly conduct was reported at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported at Rampart Apartments, 1634 Village East.
  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Motel 6, 3838 Texas 73.
  • A Sony plasma 55-inch TV, Emerson plasma 32-inch TV, unknown brand 32-inch plasma TV, PlayStation 2, several assorted games, wireless controller, assorted narcotics as well as Christmas gifts including three $25 gift cards for Gamestop, two $50 Walmart gift cards, four cologne sets, perfume, candle holder and assorted other gifts were stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Delaware Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for evading arrest with previous conviction at Fuel Depot, 4200 Gulfway Drive.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 400 block of Florida Avenue after being found unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle that was in drive with all doors locked.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated, second offense, in the 2400 block of Texas 73.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated, third of more offense, after being observed going 60 in a 30 mph zone in the 3600 block of Texas 73.

 Sunday, Dec. 20

  • A home in the 3000 block of 13th Street was burglarized.
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported at Stop & Drive No. 7, 2500 Gulfway Drive in which a person was stabbed but did not cooperate with officers.
  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Joe Louis Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis.
  • A person parked her car in a parking lot at Stonegate Manor, 4133 Turtle Creek Drive, for about three hours and when she returned her vehicle was on cinder blocks with all four tires missing a well as two amplifiers, speaker box, car stereo system and battery to power stereo system.
  • Theft was reported at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • A person was arrested for criminal trespass of a habitation in the 3000 block of 14th Street.

 Monday, Dec. 21

  • An Apple Mac Book Pro, valued at $1,000; futon couch, valued at $200; kitchen table, valued at $300; DVD player, valued at $70 and Samsung Galaxy iPhone, valued at $400, was stolen from a residence at Avery Trace Apartments, 4160 FM 365.
  • Aggravated sexual assault was reported in the 3200 block of 27th Street.
  • Burglary of a habitation was reported at Valley View Estates, 5801 Twin City Hwy.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 1900 block of 19th Street.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 5200 block of Terrace Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for interference with an emergency phone call in the 2200 block of Thomas Boulevard.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 3000 block of Alamo Avenue.
  • A safe was damaged and six bottles of Pepsi sodas were stolen from Pizza Hut, 4700 FM 365.
  • A window pane at Robert E. Lee Elementary School, 3939 Delaware Drive, was broken.
  • An automated teller machine was damaged and $2,600 in cash stolen from Wings To Go, 7849 Twin City Hwy.

Tuesday, Dec. 22

  • Theft from a person was reported at Fuel Depot, 6107 West Port Arthur Road.
  • Two Ford 250 emblem plates were stolen from MV Transportation Park and Ride, 4700 Texas 73.
  • Abandoning-endangering children with intent to return was reported in the 3200 block of 27th Street.
  • A person was arrested for the theft of a Jam speaker, two DVD’s, two 16-packs of gel pens, a 24-pack of Sharpies, cookie dough, quart of oil, two Red Bull drinks, caramel bar, carm liquid and a set of pliers for a total of $109.73 from Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • Two people were arrested for resisting arrest in the 4100 block of 39th Street.
  • Forgery-counterfeit money was reported at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • Assault-family violence was reported at Port Arthur Town Homes, 3500 Turtle Creek Blvd.
  • Assault-family violence and theft was reported in the 100 block of Third Avenue.
  • A red hover board was reported stolen from Smoke N More, 2800 26th Street. The incident occurred Dec. 7.
  • A home in the 1800 block of Nashville was burglarized and a 1999 Lincoln Towncar was stolen.
  • A 40-inch LG flat screen TV, valued at $100; LG cd/stereo player, valued at $500; and multiple designer clothing and shoes were stolen from a home in the 400 block of 13th Street.
  • A person was arrested for the theft of an RCA DVD player, valued at $109, from Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • Forgery was reported after someone used a counterfeit $20 bill at Amuny’s Liquor, 3748 Gulfway Drive.
  • Theft was reported at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • The theft of $417.67 worth of miscellaneous items was reported at Target, 3100 FM 365.
  • A home in the 5200 block of 10th Street was burglarized.
  • A 24 X 24 inch safety glass was reported broken at a Port Arthur Transit bus stop shelter in the 5200 block of Gulfway Drive.
  • A TV, $100 in cash and coins and Apple iPad mini were stolen from a home in the 4200 block of Lansing.
  • A vehicle stolen from the city of Nederland was located at Horizon Apartment Townhomes, 1601 Poole Ave.
  • A cd/dvd player was stolen from a vehicle at Jack-in-the-Box, 4600 FM 365. The theft happened between Dec. 20 and Dec. 22.
  • Aggravated assault was reported in the 1400 block of Trinity Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for evading arrest-detention with previous conviction at Speedy Stop, 600 W. Gulfway Drive.

 Wednesday, Dec. 23

  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas, 2555 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. The windshield was shattered with a piece of concrete, the hood was scratched and dented and eggs were thrown at the vehicle.
  • Assault was reported in the 5000 block of 10th Street.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a two vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Ninth Avenue.
  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 7100 block of Lake Arthur Drive.
  • Aggravated robbery was reported at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7601 Ninth Ave.
  • A vehicle stolen from Nederland was located in the 3100 block of Eighth Street.
  • A Pioneer entertainment system, touch screen, wood box with Kicker brand speaker and a Boss amplifier were stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Amherst Street.
  • Violation of a protective order was reported in the 4000 block of 13th Street.
  • A cash register was stolen from Subway, 8573 Ninth Ave.
  • Assault-family violence was reported at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis.

  • A 65-inch RCA smart TV was stolen from a home in the 1300 block of 15th Street.
  • Assault-family violence was reported at Heatherbrook Park Apartments, 8012 Heatherbrook Trail.
  • Three TV’s were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Freeman Avenue.
  • An assault was reported at Little Caesars, 2517 Jefferson Drive.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 3000 block of 59th Street.
  • A vehicle reported stolen from Groves was found in the 1200 block of Gulfway drive with a person asleep in the passenger seat.
  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Ideal Washateria, 1039 10th Ave.
  • A 1992 Chevrolet 1500 truck was stolen from Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Ave.
  • Assault was reported at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Ave. Neither the complainant nor anyone in the witnessing crowd would comply with the investigation.

 Friday, Dec. 25

  • Assault-family violence was reported at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Avenue.
  • A Magic Chef range stove, valued at $700, was stolen from a building in the 7600 block of Honeywood Trail.
  • A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone in the 600 block of Marshall Avenue. The amount of marijuana was 3.8 grams.
  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 3900 block of Texas 73.
  • Felony assault-family violence was reported in the 4200 block of Jimmy Johnson Boulevard.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 3900 block of Texas 73.
  • Assault by strangulation-family violence was reported in the 3800 block of Fourth Street.
  • Aggravated assault was reported in the 800 block of Ninth Avenue.
  • Injury to the elderly was reported at O.W. Collins Apartments, 4040 Gulfway Drive.
  • A yellow Razor Edge mini dirt bike, valued at $350 and a stainless steel Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun with holster were stolen from a building in the 2500 block of 63rd Street.
  • A purse with identification cards, bank cards and work related keys were stolen from a vehicle at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7611 Ninth Ave.
  • A person was arrested for criminal mischief at Speedy Stop, 600 W. Gulfway Drive, after breaking four windows with beer bottles.
  • A person is in custody for assault-family violence-impeding breathing circulation at Race Way, 2705 Memorial Blvd.

 Saturday, Dec. 26

  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Brittany Place Apartments, 3500 Normandy Avenue. The vehicle’s front windshield, rear left taillight and HTC cell phone were damaged.
  • A person was arrested for evading arrest-detention in the 3100 block of FM 365.
  • A briefcase containing $900 worth of barber supplies was stolen from a vehicle at Mega Play Bowling Alley, 3500 regional Drive. The vehicle was left unlocked.
  • A person was arrested for evading arrest-detention with a motor vehicle in the 4800 block of 13th Street.
  • Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported after someone shot a BB gun at a SUV in the 3500 block of 25th Street.
  • Assault was reported in the 200 block of West 17th Street.
  • An officer made a felony traffic stop where four male juveniles were inside a vehicle with what appeared to be air soft pistols as they reportedly shot at motorists along Texas 73. None of the people who had called in to report damage indicated they wanted to press charges. The juveniles were released to their guardians along with the car belonging to the parents of two of the juveniles.
  • Assault-family violence was reported at Port Arthur Park Apartments, 1348 Jefferson Drive.
  • A cell phone was stolen from a person at Christus Hospital-St. Mary, 3600 Gates Blvd.

 Sunday, Dec. 27

  • A 2008 Ford Escape was stolen from the 2100 block of Las Palmas Drive.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 3400 block of 12th Street.
  • a 40-inch Samsung flat screen TV was stolen from a home in the 3100 block of 13th Street.
  • Assault-family violence-criminal trespassing was reported at Sunset Way Apartments, 3280 Central Mall Drive.
  • A person was arrested for assault on a public servant-evading arrest/detention in the 4000 block of 14th Street.
  • A person was arrested for assault-family violence in the 1400 block of 12th Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for the theft of multiple items of clothing totaling $314.20 at Dillards, 3100 FM 365.
  • A home in the 3900 block of 29th Street was burglarized.
  • A vehicle stolen out of the city of Nederland was recovered in the 4000 block of 30th Street.
  • Someone busted the window of a residence at Port Arthur Town Homes, 3500 Turtle Creek Drive.
  • Assault-family violence was reported in the 3100 block of 19th Street.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being found asleep behind the wheel in the 1900 block of Ninth Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 1100 block of Eighth Street.

 Monday, Dec. 28

  • A man was robbed of cash and a cell phone at gunpoint at Super Stop No. 7, 5138 Gulfway Drive.
  • A person was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon in the 1600 block of Green Avenue after reportedly being found in possession of a 9 mm handgun and magazines, loose 9 mm bullets, a small amount of marijuana and digital pocket scale.
  • A person was arrested for the theft of $257.52 in merchandise at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
  • An employee at Rue21, 3100 FM 365, reportedly stole $671.41 in cash from the business.
  • A home in the 2200 block of Robinhood Drive was burglarized.
  • Interference with child custody was reported t Valley View Apartments, 5801 Twin City Hwy.
  • Assault was reported at Anna’s Bakery, 3426 Gulfway Drive.
  • Assault was reported at Prince Hall Apartments, 914 W. 14th St.

 Tuesday, Dec. 29

  • State jail felony assault-family violence was reported in the 3300 block of Eighth Street.
  • Deadly conduct was reported after someone fired a .40 caliber bullet into a vehicle in the 3700 block of Lakeshore Drive.
  • A mixed breed pit bull reportedly attacked a Jack Russell-Chihuahua mix dog at Stonecreek Apartments, 3035 Lake Arthur Drive.
  • Criminal mischief was reported after someone placed sugar in the gas tank of a 2007 Chevrolet Impala in the 3100 block of 25th Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 3100 block of 14th Street.
  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence was reported in the 3100 block of 14th Street.
