The Port Arthur Police Department recently received information regarding an officer who may have been involved in an unknown type relationship with a student at Memorial High School.

Chief Mark Blanton turned the information over to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office for investigation.

Blanton said that no official complaint has been filed with the department.
