Kathy Stelly Charles, 61, of Port Arthur, TX went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2020.

A native of Lafayette LA, she accepted Christ at young age.

She was a resident of Port Arthur for 42 years and retired as a cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Stelly, and Joseph Stelly of Port Barre, LA; one sister, Mary Doomes of Washington, LA; two brothers, Charles Stelly, Wilton Stelly of LA.

Survivors include one daughter Pamela Moore (Stelly) of Baytown TX; two sons Brent Charles and Colby Chavis both of Port Arthur; four sisters, Celestine Marcel of Port Arthur, TX, Elizabeth Francis of Beaumont, TX, Emma Thomas of Port Barre, LA, Ellen Stelly of Opelousas, LA; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. James Catholic Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.
