Johnny Earl Young

Johnny Earl Young died unexpectedly January 28th, 2020 at Village Creek Nursing Home in Lumberton, TX.

He was born June 6, 1958 in Port Arthur, TX, the son of William E. and Ellen Young.

Johnny attended school in Nederland where he lived for most of his adult life.

Johnny attended a diesel mechanics school and made his living in the automotive industry.

Johnny was single and had no children.

Johnny is survived by his sister Becky Seagler, a brother Danny Young, niece Summer Young Grossman and nephew Jared Seagler.

Johnny was a very kind and friendly person who would go out of his way to help someone.

He enjoyed crafts and repairing old items for resale.

Johnny was very creative and enjoyed drawing and painting.

Johnny was plagued by a long term illness, COPD, and elected to donate his body to science at UTMB in Galveston.

For this reason there will be no formal services for Johnny, the family will hold a memorial on February 22, 2020 at First Baptist Loeb 3082 Hwy. 69 South, Lumberton, TX 77657 from 2 –  4 pm.
