Terry G. Simpson, 74, of Nederland passed away Monday, January 6, 2020, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Terry was born September 21, 1945 in Broken Bow, OK to the late Calvin and Mae Simpson.

He had a love of music and enjoyed playing the guitar and woodworking.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Bethel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gwenda Simpson; children, Shelley Swanson and husband Craig of Port Neches, Steven Simpson of Nederland and Brent Simpson and his wife Christine of Lumberton.

Terry also leaves behind grandchildren, Malloree and husband Raygin Melanson, Payton Swanson and fiancé Drew Emerson, Courtney Swanson, Anna Toon and husband Tyler, Isabel Simpson, Charlotte Simpson and Anderson Simpson; great grandchildren, Dawson Melanson, Baylor Melanson, Ava Toon and Tinley Toon to cherish his memories.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Simpson will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home.
