Lela Bazile Harmon was parented by Earnest and Loney Bazile on January 14, 1935 in Port Arthur, TX.

She is cherished by her husband Ranzel Harmon and three children, Darrell Harmon (wife, Cynthia), Marlene Harmon Dixon and Regina Harmon Francois (Darrell) all of Port Arthur, TX.

She is also loved by Gloria Chavis of Beaumont, TX, Geraldine Harmon of Port Arthur, TX and Joyce Banks of Beaumont, TX; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and relatives.

Lela Bazile Harmon is preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Loney Bazile; four sisters, Mazerta Berry, Bertha Hall, Lula Harmon and Ella Heron; three brothers, Lionel Bazile, Lester Bazile and Harlon Bazile.

Lela Bazile Harmon was a devoted Christian wife, mother, homemaker and caregiver.

She made her Christian dedication to her heavenly father Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in June 10, 1973 and she remained loyal for 46 years until she finished her earthly course.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
