William Thomas Comiskey, 89, of Port Neches, Texas passed away December 24, 2019.

He was born in Ennis, Texas on March 26, 1930 to the late Patrick Terrance Comiskey and Christina Joly Comiskey.

William graduated from Texas Tech and was a Master Gardener where he enjoyed gardening and making wine.

He retired as a Chemical Engineer for BF Goodrich after 38 years of service and served his country proudly in the U. S. Air Force.

He knew every museum in Southeast Texas and volunteered at the hospitality center for many years.

He always kept himself busy.

Those left to cherish William’s memory are his wife, Annie Reljac Comiskey of Port Neches; his children, Evelyn Briggs and her husband Pat, Gail Binagia and her husband Bryan, Julie Comiskey, Mary Comiskey, Monica Condit and her husband Dave, and Paula Comiskey; his brothers, Patrick Comiskey, Glenn Comiskey, Jerry Comiskey, and Wayne Comiskey; his sisters, Dorothy Penney, Mary Eleanor Ludwig, and Teresa O’Hayre and her husband Harold; 17 grandchildren, Tyler, Grant, Travis, Erin, Rachel, Laura, Cory, Greg, Annmarie, Mike, Mary, Patrick, Joe, Catie, Bridgett, and Therese; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parent, his daughter Carol Comiskey, his brother Eugene Comiskey, and his sister Barbara Kelsey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 with a Rosary being recited at 1:30 p.m.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches following the funeral service.
