Deniese Owilda Davis James, 79, of Port Arthur, TX, was called home on October 30, 2019 at home surrounded by family.

Deniese was born May 11, 1940 to the late Herman Davis and Virginia Champion.

She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas and 1959 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary. Deniese retired from
Chevron with 23 years of service.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, 7 children George Mansfield (Beaula), Alixandra LeBlanc, Kevin Mitchell (Stephanie), Ellis Mitchell (Joy), Byron James, Lawrence James Jr., Terence James (Connie); 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 1
brother.

Visitation will be at 8:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
