Port Arthur native and UGK rapper Bun B will meet with Houston Astros fans and sign autographs from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the Astros’ team store, located in the lobby of Union Station at Minute Maid Park at the corner of Texas Avenue and Crawford Street in Houston.

Astros spokesperson Meshach Sullivan has confirmed the rapper has designed three New Era-brand ballcaps exclusively for the team store. The Astros released a Twitter post of the caps, adding only 150 of the navy suede caps with an Astros’ golden H-star logo were made, along with 713 white-orange bill and navy-gold bill caps.

Sullivan said more details on the promotion would come later today.

Bun B, whose real name is Bernard Freeman, is a professor in religion and hip-hop culture in Rice University’s online learning program.
