Andrew Landry missed his second cut of the 2018-19 PGA Tour season Friday after shooting a one-over-par 71 in the second round of the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. He finished with a 36-hole total of 145.

The Port Neches-Groves ex had put himself in a tough position after shooting a 74 in Thursday’s opening round. He pretty much sealed his fate by making a triple bogey 7 on his sixth hole of the day Friday — the par-4, 15th.

Highlight of the tournament for Landry was making an eagle 3 on his final hole, the par-5 ninth. This marked the second consecutive year for Landry to miss the cut in the Sony. He posted a three-over total of 143 last year.
