In addition, Allen was in possession of a handgun at the time of his arrest that police believe is the same gun used in the reported crimes. Police also believe that several juveniles took part in these crimes along with Allen.

Bond for Allen was set at $25,000 but later increased to $100,000.

PAPD Deputy Chief Martin “Bubba” Blitch said police were working with the district attorney’s office to file additional charges on others who may have been involved in these crimes.

Assault and shooting

Lee’s arrest was on a warrant for an incident that occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Nov. 11 that started as a disturbance in the 1700 block of Jefferson Drive.

As officers were en route, the complainant got into his vehicle and left the scene, police said in a statement. The suspect followed and began to shoot at the fleeing man in his vehicle.

Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle in the 7600 block of Twin City Highway. Several suspects fled the vehicle; however, a juvenile was taken into custody. An arrest arrant for Lee was issued Nov. 20.
