Ms. Virginia Eaglin Wise “Jenny”, a native of Port Arthur, Texas transitioned from promise to reward on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her residence.  Virginia was a 1966 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, 1984 graduate of Lamar University and a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Eaglin, Sr. and Francis Guice Eaglin, two sisters, Catherine Joseph and Ella Eaglin, two brothers, Andrew Thomas and Frank Thomas, Sr., one grandson, Vidal Wise, Jr. and a daughter in law, Antonia Wise.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Clifford Wise, Jr. (LaToya), Vidal Wise of Port Arthur, TX and Ardis Wise (Markeshia) of Houston, TX; her sisters, Rita Hines (Earl, Sr.) and Theresa Comeaux (Emmett) of Port Arthur, TX and Jean Green of Houston, TX; her brother, Arthur Eaglin, Jr. (Sheila) of Port Arthur, TX; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

Services are scheduled for November 3, 2018 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Louis Hatch, III, officiating.  Viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
