The following persons were indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury this week:

 

• Matthew Marquis Dwain Clevenger, 18, of Lufkin was indicted for murder, a first-degree felony, for an incident that occurred July 24 in Beaumont.
• Jaemeel Carltel Davis, 23, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Aug. 7 in Beaumont.
• Kendra Lashea Banks, 26, of Port Arthur was indicted for assault (on a peace officer), a second-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Aug. 1 in Jefferson County.
• Jeffery Lawrence Brown aka Jeffery L. Brown aka Jeffrey Lawrnce Brown aka Jeffery Brown, 42, of Beaumont was indicted for tampering with physical evidence, a third-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Dec. 17 in Beaumont.
• Jeffery Lawrence Brown aka Jeffery L. Brown aka Jeffrey Lawrnce Brown aka Jeffery Brown, 42, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a third-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Dec. 17 in Beaumont.
• Tristian Heath Fuller, 20, of Silsbee was indicted for burglary (habitation), a second-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Aug. 8 in Beaumont.
• Filbert Watson Jr., 34, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a second-degree felony, for an incident that occurred April 12 in Beaumont.

• Roger Neil Bailey, 33, of Panama City, Florida was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a state jail felony, for an incident that occurred April 6 in Jefferson County.
• Charlton Wayne Brydson, 46, a transient, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a state jail felony, for an incident that occurred Jan. 26 in Beaumont.
• Traylin Coty Watkins, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle, a third-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Sep. 16 in Beaumont.
• Lamar Willie Davis, 39, of Port Arthur was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle, a third-degree felony, for an incident that occurred July 29 in Port Arthur.
• Moises Alexander Carranza-Teyes, 23, of Port Arthur was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle, a third-degree felony, for an incident that occurred Aug. 5 in Port Arthur.
• Jacob Paul Willis, 42, of Sour Lake was indicted for felony theft (prior theft convictions), a state jail felony, for an incident that occurred Jan. 25 in Beaumont.
