J. “Jack” Persefield, 88, of Toledo Bend and formerly of Groves, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 in Hemphill, Tx. Mr. Persefield was a native of Jayess, MS. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Ameripol-Synpol. Mr. Persefield was a former parishioner of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and currently of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Jasper.

Mr. Persefield was preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Bill Wilber and a daughter Lori Hickson. He is survived by his wife L. June Persefield of Toledo Bend; his son, Randy Persefield of Toledo Bend and a daughter, Debbie Reeves of Crystal Beach. He, also, leaves behind ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday July 24, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from Noon until the service hour. Mr. Persefield will be interred at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
