Dianne Glawson Katan, 49, of Port Acres, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 in Port Arthur, TX. Dianne was born on June 1, 1967 in Fort Polk, LA to Ann Hester Glawson and the late Lonnie Glawson. Dianne was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin in 1985.

Dianne is survived by her mother, Ann Glawson of Port Acres; sons, Dwayne Katan and Fiance, Jessica of Stuart, Iowa and Colby Glawson of Nederland, TX; grandson, Drystin Cash Katan of Stuart, Iowa; sisters, Amy Bradford and husband, Rudy and Renea Glawson both of Port Acres; companion and soul mate, Glen Norris of Nederland; former husband, Charles “Chuck” Katan of Mississippi; best friend/sis, B.G. Bentley and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 4:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland, TX.
