Annie Rose Helton, 78, of Riverview, Florida, formerly of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at her residence.

Annie was born on January 25, 1938 in Morris, Louisiana to parents Eunice (LeLeux) and Milton Hargrave. She had lived in the Port Arthur area, Nederland for 15 years and the last 2 ½ years in Riverview, FL. Annie was of the Catholic faith attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and working crossword puzzles. Annie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who loved spending time with family and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Rodney J. Hargrave, Roland Hargrave; sister, Patricia Ann Durso.

Those left to cherish Annie’s memory are her sons, Rodney Herbert of Slidell, LA, Jules Herbert III and his wife, Jo Ann of Nederland, TX and his son, Bradley Herbert of Bogalusa, LA; her daughters, Kay Ann Falgoust and her husband, Dennis of Kenner, LA; Johnnie Hoffpauir and her husband, Michael of Riverview, FL; her brothers, Roger Dale Vance and his wife, Robin of Nederland, TX, Lloyd Vance and his wife Debbie of Mauriceville, TX. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a rosary to be prayed at 7 PM at the funeral home. A Christian Burial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Msgr. Dan Malain will be serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
