Inez Marie Hatton-Minard

Inez Marie Hatton-Minard, 43, was called home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Renal Care Center in Port Arthur, TX. She was born December 17, 1972 in Port Arthur, TX to her mother Eller Jean McCree and father Dwight Lester. She was a 1991 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. Inez was a member of First Sixth Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Kalan Gardner, Sr.

Inez was such a loving, cheerful, kind hearted person. She never refused anyone and was always willing to give a helping hand. Her smile would light up the room and fill everyone’s heart with joy.

Inez was preceded in death by her mother Eller Jean McCree (Edward), grandfather and grandmother Johnny and Clara Hatton and her aunt Patricia Ann Augustine.

Inez left in God’s care and to cherish her memory her husband, Robert Minard of Port Arthur; her beloved aunts Alberta Hatton and Velma McCree; two special cousins that she loved as her sister and brother LaShea Antoine and Johnny Hatton; special god children, Londyn White, Janathan and Trinity Hernson; mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Beverly Minard; sister-in-law, Stephanie Minard; two dear and special friends Mary Motley-Chase and Debra Ozen all of Port Arthur, TX.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at First Sixth Street Baptist Church with viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
