A fight between two women led to one being cut with a knife at Cedar Ridge Apartments on Tuesday.

Police were called to the stabbing shortly after 10 a.m. at the apartment complex, located in the 7600 block of Ninth Avenue.

The woman who was assaulted used a knife to defend herself and the result was a minor cut on the other woman’s arm, according to police.

The woman did not seek medical attention and no arrests were made as detectives sort out the incident. Should there be charged they will be filed with the district attorney’s office.
