Orren Edgar Reeve, 93, of Port Arthur passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

He was born on March 8, 1923 in Port Arthur, Texas to Arthur Edgar Reeve and Gertrude Hudson Reeve.

Orren was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard destroyer escort, USS Gentry and destroyer, USS Edison.

Orren was a life member of VFW Post 797 in Port Arthur.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jewel Ann Reeve, parents Arthur Edgar Reeve and Gertrude Reeve, sister, Juanita Hutchinson, and grandson, Justin Slade Reeve.

Orren is survived by his daughter, Sheri Zane Koshkin and husband Ben of Sugar Land, TX, son, Forrest Duane Reeve and wife Pat of Fannett,TX, four grandchildren, Deanna Morey and husband Bernie, Jessica Van Singel and husband Doug, Brett Koshkin, Michael Koshkin, four great grandchildren, Aubrey Sheffield, Jerrek Sheffield, Peyton Van Singel, Karis Van Singel and nephew, Phillip Craig Hutchinson.

There will be a private celebration of his life at a future date for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the charity of their choice.
