Curtis J. Hollier, 95, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Curtis was born on April 23, 1921 to parents John and Elizabeth Hollier in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and retired from Texaco. Curtis was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed duck hunting and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Genevieve Hollier.

Curtis is survived by his sons, Michael Hollier and wife, Sherry, Randy Hollier and wife, Martha all of Groves, TX; Jaime Hollier and wife, Rebecca of Orangefield, TX and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elsie Catille, his brother, Elwood Hollier both of Breaux Bridge, LA.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 beginning at 9 AM with a rosary to be prayed 10 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A Christian Burial Service will follow the rosary on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the funeral home; Rev J. C. Coon will be the celebrant. A private burial will be held by the family later that day
