Port Neches RiverFest celebrates 15 years

PORT NECHES — Port Neches RiverFest is celebrating 15 years of fun family entertainment with food, arts and crafts, carnival rides, live music and games and Thunder on the Neches tunnel boat races.

The annual event will be held from Wednesday, April 27 through Sunday, May 1 at Port Neches Riverfront Park at the corner of Grigsby Avenue and Merriman Street.

The event kicks-off on Wednesday with Faith and Family Night. Christian musician Micah Tyler will hit the stage at 5:20 p.m. and Josh Wilson will perform at 7:15 p.m.

Thursday’s entertainment lineup includes Mayeaux & Broussard from 7 to 9 p.m. and Casey Donahew at 9:30 p.m.

Powerboat testing begins on Friday and entertainment includes The O’s at 7 p.m., Cory Morrow at 8:30 p.m. and Pat Green at 10:30 p.m. Alex Rozell, J.A.G. and Champagne Room will perform on Saturday.

The four day festival includes carnival rides and games, arts and crafts, a pet show, photo contest, car show and more.
