Groves Police responded to the following calls from Dec. 2 through Dec. 8

 Wednesday, Dec. 2

• A juvenile was reported as a runaway in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 36-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Main.

Thursday, Dec. 3

• A 22-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 3100 block of South Drive.
• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

Friday, Dec. 4

• A criminal trespass warning was issued in the 4700 block of Clermont.
• A man and a woman were seen taking two electronic Roku media players from a business in the 5000 of Twin City Highway.
• A purse was stolen from a room in the 5000 block of East Parkway.
• Identity theft was reported when a credit card account was opened without the owner’s knowledge.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested on Groves warrants after a traffic stop in the 6700 block of 25^th Street.

Saturday, Dec. 5

• A vehicle parked in the 5100 block of East Parkway was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
• An assault was reported in the 2800 block of Oak.
• A 22-year-old male was arrested on Groves warrants after a traffic stop in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 24-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 6100 block of 39^th Street.

Sunday, Dec. 6

• A 25-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 5000 block of Monroe.
• A 32-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 5500 block of West Washington.

Monday, Dec. 7

• A 50-inch and a 32-inch Emerson and Vizio television sets and Nintendo game console were stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Third Avenue.
• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

Tuesday, Dec. 8

• An unknown vehicle drove through a yard in the 3600 block of Canal causing damage to the yard.
• Three firearms were stolen from a house in the 4600 block of Inwood.
• A loud noise complaint was made in the 6600 block of Verde.
• A 42-year-old man was arrested for possession or ingestion of certain prohibited substance in the 6100 block of East Drive.
• A shoplifting was reported in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 24-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Groves warrants in the 3600 block of Canal.
