Jesse Preston

Jesse Preston, 81, of Lumberton, formerly of Groves, died Thursday, September 17, 2015. He was born on December 23, 1933, in Fouke, Arkansas, to Dorothy Nall and John Preston.
Jesse was a United States Army veteran. He worked for Sun Oil in the petroleum building before retiring as a sales representative from All Phase Electric. Jesse was a lifetime member of the National Harley Society and a member of Cowboy Harley Club, Mustang Motorcycle Club, Cushman Motorcycle Club, and Guadalupe Senior Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Preston of Lumberton; sisters-in -laws, Elaine Griner and her husband, Gordon, of Roganville and Carolyn Sutton and her husband, John, of Warren; brother- in-law, Milton Pansano and his wife, Karen, of Bridge City; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Arkansas.
A Memorial Mass for Mr. Preston will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3648 South S/Sgt. Lucian Adams Drive, Port Arthur. A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
