Groves Police responded to the following calls from June 17 through June 23

Wednesday, June 17
• Forgery/fraud was reported when a citizen from a local city reported that credit card charges were unauthorized at some Groves local businesses for more than $400.
• Miscellaneous bracelets valued at $100, locking heart ring valued at $200, class ring valued at $200, and a 7-inch Kindle fire valued at $80 were stolen from the 4500 block of Wilson.
• Unauthorized charges on a local credit union debit card of more than $360 were reported in the 3700 block of Doyle.
• A disturbance was reported in the 6300 block of Garner.

Thursday, June 18
• A 34-year-old female was arrested on outstanding justice of the peace warrants in the 5200 block of East Parkway following a routine civil standby and routine check of all parties.
• A 2006 green Dodge Caravan had the windshield broken and dents and scratches to the hood, damages of more than $900, in the 2800 block of Pearl.

Friday, June 19
• Officers responded to a disturbance in the 4200 block of Taft Avenue.
• A 40-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Main.
• A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving while license Invalid  after a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Taft.
• A 37-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3400 block of Twin City Highway.
• A large amount of cash was stolen from a bank bag in the 5800 block of West Jefferson.

Saturday, June 20
• A 17-year-old male was arrested for assault in the 6500 block of Terrell.
• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.
• Criminal trespass warning notices were issued to two people in the 5500 block of Marion.
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Main.
• Credit cards were stolen from the 4500 block of Wilson.
• A 31-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2600 block of Main.

Sunday, June 21
• A 21-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Main.
• A white 2000 Chevrolet Impala was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 38-year-old male was arrested for evading arrest in the 5500 block of Gulf.
• A disturbance was reported in the 2700 block of Ruby.
• A 50-year-old female was arrested for assault in the 4200 block of Taft.
• A disturbance was reported in the 3000 block of High Avenue.

Monday, June 22
• A black and gray gym bag which contained clothing and a H&K .40 caliber pistol were stolen from a vehicle in the 3500 block of Twin City Highway.
• A teal colored purse was stolen from the 5800 block of West Jefferson.
• Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.
• A 32-year-old male was arrested on outstanding Groves warrants.
• A 20-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants  after a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Main.
• A 44-year-old male was arrested for assault in the 6100 block of Groves.

Tuesday, June 23
• A 32-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6400 block of Howe.
• A 31-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5500 block of 39th Street.
• Local business in the 5000 block of 32nd Street issued a criminal trespass warning to a 47-year-old male.
• A blue and green bicycle valued at $150 was stolen from the 6600 block of Val.
• Several items of merchandise including a wallet, an Apple watch, and a cap all valued at $140 were stolen from a business in the 6000 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A disturbance was reported in the 6400 block of Jefferson.
• Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported in the 4600 block of Lawndale.
• Clothing valued at more than $600 was stolen from a home in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
