Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from May 15 to May 21:

May 15

• Duc Ngo, 55, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 1800 block of Twin City Highway.
• Gregory House, 65, was arrested for warrants in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A theft was reported in the 3800 block of Main Avenue.
• A theft was reported in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.
• A possession of a controlled substance report was filed at the 5000 block of 39^th Street.

May 16

• Kourtney Jones, 24, was arrested for warrants in the 4900 block of East Parkway.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle/ recovered was reported in the 6300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 2200 block of Post Oak.
• An information report was filed at the 5500 block of Sonnier Lane.

May 17

• Jovanny Guilamo Ortiz, 50, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5300 block of Twin City Highway.
• A dog at large was reported in the 3400 block of Taft.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

May 18

• Charlotte Barba ,37, was arrested for public intoxication in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Chelsea Hoffpauir, 31, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 5000 block of 33^rd Street.

May 19

• Mason Neeb, 18, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 4500 block of Twin City Hwy.
• Joshua Wilson, 28, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
• William Olan, 42, was arrested for warrants and failed to identify fugitive intent to give false information in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• Crystal Buitron, 47, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication in the 5200 block of East Parkway.

May 20

• Karim Anabtawi, 58,was arrested for warrants in the 5000 block of Monroe.
• Carlos Trejo Vasquez, 40, was arrested for driving while intoxicated 2^nd offense in the 5300 block of Twin City Highway.
• Duty on striking an unattended vehicle was reported in the 3000 block of Oak.
• An information report was filed at the 6400 block of 32^nd Street.

May 21

• Chase Kimball, 39, was arrested for warrants in the 5100 block of Foster.
• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• An assault was reported in the 2700 block of Magnolia.
