Witnesses reported seeing the two men in the water, but the men did not reemerge Tuesday night.

It is believed they entered the water near the condominiums, which is near the marina.

JSCO Captain Crystal Holmes said a marine unit boat, which has high-powered lights, was out during the night and a fresh crew resumed the search Wednesday morning.

It is not known how the men ended up in the water or what they were doing at the time.

Police are checking the vehicles in the area to see if any possibly belong to the men.
