Darlene Thomas-Pierre, director of code enforcement for the City of Port Arthur, recently visited the Port Arthur Rotary Club to talk about her department being governed by state law.
She explained the misconception people have about keeping their property any sort of way because “it’s their property.”
There are laws that protect all homeowners to live in a safe and healthy environment.
