Extreme Giving/Extreme Recreation Iwas established in 2023 to support programs for homeless individuals and families living in poverty. The goal is to raise $5,000, which will go directly to support programs to assist the homeless, families living in poverty and children’s programs and establish Extreme Giving as a resource in the community.

“We are thrilled to bring our community together for a fun and meaningful event that will make a real difference in the lives of those affected by homelessness and poverty,” said Tammy VanZandt. “We’re grateful for the support of our sponsors and donors, and we can’t wait to see the impact we can make together.”

Local band “Preacher and the Damned” is set to perform. Attendees have the opportunity to shop products offered by local small businesses and enjoy delicious food and (non-alcohol) drinks.

Sponsorship opportunities are available, and interested parties can contact VanZandt at extreme.recreation@outlook.com or 409-433-8827.

Extreme Giving is also collecting canned soups or ready to eat meals with pull tabs for their pantry to be distributed at the event.
