BEAUMONT — H.B. Neild & Sons Inc. has operated in the Golden Triangle for more than 90 years.

Through four generations of leadership that valued giving back to the community, the Beaumont-based business has grown … and grown.

On Thursday afternoon, the H.B. Neild team and the community came together again as the construction services firm celebrated its newest location at 8595 Industrial Parkway in Beaumont.

The larger and state-of-the-art home base is the launching point for H.B. Neild’s Industrial Plumbing and Industrial HVACR services, which work hand-in-hand with clients across the Gulf Coast.

The new business operation has more than two and half times the office space of H.B. Neild’s previous Beaumont location and sits on approximately 3.8 acres.

It is also the fourth location in the business’ illustrious history.

Today, the family’s fourth generation leads the business with an ownership team of Taylor Neild as CEO, Thomas Neild as president, Annie Neild Howell as executive vice president and Ty Neild as senior project manager.

A member of the fifth generation — Taylor Neild Jr. — joined the operation this year as a laborer.

Third generation stalwart Thomas “Tom” B. Neild Sr. remains the company’s chairman of the board, and he helped lead ribbon cutting fun Thursday with help from the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce.

Taylor Neild said ownership of the company was never something that was forced on him or his siblings, because “there was always an understanding that you are going to have to work for this.”

“The No. 1 priority is to service our clients,” Taylor said. “At the same time, we are working to grow our organization that has been in existence for 92 years. We take a lot of pride in being a fourth-generation company. It is also important now that the first kid out of the fifth generation joined the firm as a laborer this January. We’re working to continue keeping this company thriving for future generations.”
