Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from April 10 to April 16:

April 10

  • Hector De La Parra-Reyes, 38, was arrested for warrants in the 2500 block of Twin City Highway.
  • Larry Beavers, 54, was arrested for warrants in the 6700 block of Willow.
  • A Theft was reported in the 3400 block of Canal.
  • Possession of a controlled substance report was filed at the 2600 block of Oak.

April 11

  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 2800 block of Terrace.
  • A theft was reported in the 2200 block of Main Avenue.

April 12

  • A theft was reported in the 2800 block of Main Avenue.

April 13

  • Mario Villanueva Rojas, 36, was arrested for assault and public intoxication in the 5400 block of Baird Street.
  • An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
  • An information report was filed at the 5000 block of Monroe.

April 14

  • Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 2000 block of Perry.

April 15

  • Aron Lee, 75, was arrested for warrants in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
  • Matthew Curry, 48, was arrested for warrants in the 3500 block of Charles Avenue.

April 16

  • Mark Hebert, 55, was arrested for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more offenses in the 5700 block of 39th Street.
  • Ar’myra Brown, 18, was arrested for warrants in the 5600 block of 39th Street.
  • Jose Gonzales, 59, was arrested for walking on wrong side of the roadway in the 4100 block of Gulf.
  • A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Ash.
  • An information report was filed at the 4200 block of Main Avenue.
