ORANGE — No arrests have been made after a teen crashed a stolen car into a home April 2.

It is unknown if the juvenile driver, who reportedly left the car running when she went into a home, has been identified.

Orange Police Sergeant Isaac Henry III declined to comment on the question, saying this is still an active case that is being investigated.

The scenario began when a woman stopped by a family member’s home and left the 2020 Toyota Camry running when she ran inside. She noticed the headlights of her vehicle start moving and ran outside.

The owner of the vehicle told police she began to chase the car in another vehicle and saw it crash into a home in the 2300 block of Bolton at approximately 8:50 p.m.

The woman reportedly saw an unknown black juvenile exit the car and take off running.

Both the car and the home suffered extensive damage, Henry said.

Police are not releasing any further information on the case at this time.
