ORANGE — A juvenile reportedly stole a vehicle and crashed into a home in Orange on Tuesday night, authorities said.
The scenario began when a woman stopped by a family member’s home and left the car running when she ran inside.
She noticed the headlights of her vehicle moving and ran outside, Orange Police Sergeant Isaac Henry III said in a news release.
The owner of the vehicle told police she began to chase her car in another vehicle and saw her vehicle crash into a home in the 2300 block of Bolton Road at 8:50 p.m.
The woman reportedly saw an unknown black juvenile exit her car and take off running.
The City of Orange Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the crash.
