According to Entergy, planned outages are sometimes required for the safety of customers and crews.

In some circumstances, they are planned in less than one week, and are included as soon as planned, officials said.

Entergy crews are replacing wire that requires lines to be de-energized.

The outage is for approximately four hours, beginning at 7 a.m. on Thursday.
