U.S. Rep. Randy Weber is joining the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security field hearing Monday in Port Arthur.
“President Biden’s LNG export ban is a direct attack on Southeast Texas,” Weber said.
“Our community of Port Arthur has thrived off of investments from the LNG industry, created thousands of good-paying jobs and invested in the next generation of workers. I look forward to hearing firsthand from community leaders on the real-world impacts of Biden’s LNG export ban and how the investments have greatly impacted our community of Port Arthur.”
The hearing is planned Monday at Lamar State College Port Arthur at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center.
