The Port Arthur Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted the Elite Fishing Series for an eighth season from March 21-23.
Some of the fun took place at the Robert A. Bob Bowers Civic Center.
This made for TV professional saltwater tournament series event that also included an Outdoor Expo, live music by Jude Moreau and the Bon Temps Playboys and Piggin-Out-Pork’s food truck.
This was alongside local nonprofits, area attractions and community support. Championship Saturday included a team kayak tournament and weigh in.
Port Arthur’s 30-minute episode is airing on the Discovery Channel in the fall. Stay tuned for details!
