Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I am Bruce Swander and head a research team to identify/document servicemen who served in Vietnam, were wounded in battle, evacuated out and subsequently died of the wounds sustained.

Some were inadvertently missed when the Vietnam Memorial Wall was erected in Washington DC in 1982. Our goal is to get their names rightly inscribed on the Wall.

We are finalizing a case involving a man from Port Arthur – but need some help from you if this may be interesting to your readers.

The soldier’s name was Earnest Wayne Watkins.  DoD now requires that submittals for Addition to the Wall in DC have a living relative involved.

We’ve determined that he had a brother – William Watkins (b.1951), and a sister – Georgia Mae Watkins … either or both still in Port Arthur.

It appears Georgia was married 3 times – DANKINS, CONLEY, CHISEM. We’re not sure which name she is currently using. Last known address is: 1321 Sabine Ave.

We need to locate/contact either of them as to what we’re doing – and wondering if you could help with this.
