Nederland Police Department officers made the following arrests from March 11 to March 17:

  • Aaron Farrar, 43, possession of a controlled substance
  • William McCall, 39, driving while license suspended
  • Ruth Botello, 32, terroristic threat of family, Nederland warrants
  • Jeremy Turner, 49, public intoxication
  • David Ring, 47, unlawfully carrying a weapon
  • Jesse Laurents, 31, warrant other agency
  • Kody Francois, 44, evading, possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, another agency’s warrant
  • Samuel Francois, 39, warrant other agency

Nederland Police Department officers responded to the following calls from March 11 to March 17:

March 11

  • A theft was reported in the 1700 block of Avenue E.
  • Criminal mischief and criminal trespass was reported in the 800 block of South 14th Street.
  • Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of North 17th Street.
  • Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of FM 365.
  • An officer another agency in the 2400 block of Nall in Port Neches.
  • A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 800 block of South 8th Street.
  • Assault offensive touch -family violence was reported in the 1200 block of S 14th Street.
  • Assault by threat -family violence was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.

March 12

  • A theft was reported in the 1100 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for driving while license suspended in the 1100 block of Gary.
  • A person was arrested for terroristic threat of family -family violence and Nederland warrants in the 200 block of Hill Terrace.
  • A dog bite was reported in the 3600 block of Avenue B.

March 13

  • Assault causes bodily injury -family violence was reported in the 700 block of North 9th Street.

March 14

  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 200 block of North U.S. 69.
  • Harassment was reported in the 2100 block of Avenue A.
  • Found property was reported in the 200 block of Hardy.

March 15

  • Online solicitation of a minor was reported in the 1000 block of Avenue B.
  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • A person was arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon in the 4800 block of FM 365.
  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 4800 block of FM 365.

March 16

  • A death was reported in the 200 block of North 32nd Street.
  • Leaving the scene of an accident was reported in the 2900 block of FM 365.
  • An aggravated assault was reported in the 1600 block of Boston.

March 17

  • Assault offensive touch was reported in the 1400 block of Boston.
  • Assault offensive touch -family violence was reported in the 200 block of South 35th Street.
  • A person was arrested for evading, possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify, unlawfully carrying a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and another agency’s warrant in the 1100 block of South 14th Street.
  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1100 block of South 14th Street.
