Nederland Police Department officers made the following arrests from March 4 to March 10:

  • Christopher Parsons, 40, Nederland warrants
  • Lee Senegal, 43, warrant other agency
  • Songela Williams, 29, warrant other agency
  • Isaac Davila, 26, public intoxication
  • Evan Boden, 27, evading arrest with vehicle, resisting arrest
  • Ray Savant, 33, possession of a controlled substance
  • David Ring, 47, evading arrest with vehicle, fail to identify
  • Alfredo Reyes, 30, warrant other agency
  • Jorge Del Fierro, 29, Nederland warrants and warrant other agency
  • Elizabeth Green, 39, public intoxication
  • Jimmera Hyder, 40, warrant other agency
  • Tracy Haynes, 50, warrant other agency
  • Earnest Madison, 55, fail to identify-intentionally give false information
  • Johnae Biggs, 18, Nederland warrants
  • Jahtorrian Spriggs, 18, Nederland warrants
  • Kordell Colbert, 21, Nederland warrants
  • Aitesha Lamb, 35, unlawfully carrying a weapon
  • Treyce Altman, 20, possession of a controlled substance

Nederland Police Department officers responded to the following calls from March 4 to March 10:

March 4

  • A person was found to be in possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone in the 2100 block of North 18th Street.
  • Indecency with child -sexual contact was reported in the 200 block of North 17th Street.
  • A person was arrested on Nederland warrants in the 2800 block of Helena.
  • A person was arrested on Nederland warrants in the 900 block of South 14th Street.
  • An officer assisted another agency in the 1400 block of Boston.

March 5

  • A person was found to be in possession of a firearm by a felon at an undisclosed location.
  • Two people were arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 500 block of Hill Terrace.

March 6

  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2000 block of North U.S. 69.
  • Leaving the scene of an accident was reported near Jerry Ware and U.S. 69.
  • A person was arrested for evading arrest with a vehicle and resisting arrest near Hardy and South 33rd Street.
  • A dog bite was reported near South 3 ½ Street and Avenue F.
  • Assault causes bodily injury was reported in the 2100 block of North 18th Street.
  • Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 300 block of North 8th Street.
  • a person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of North 36th Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 600 block of South 18th Street.
  • Terroristic threat of family -family violence was reported in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

March 7

  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 800 block of South 10 ½ Street.
  • A person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 2100 block of North 18th Street.
  • A death was reported in the 600 block of North 26th Street.
  • C credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 1800 block of Helena.
  • Assault offensive touch was reported in the 2100 block of North 18th Street.
  • Fraudulent use or possession of identifying information was reported in the 400 block of South 17th Street.
  • Criminal mischief and disorderly conduct by loud and profane language was reported in the 200 block of North Twin City Highway.
  • A person was arrested on Nederland warrants and another agency’s warrants in the 500 block of South 37th Street.
  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 1100 block of South 13th Street.

March 8

  • An officer assisted another agency in the 1400 block of Avenue M.
  • A theft was reported in the 3300 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1100 block of Helena.

March 9

  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1400 block of South U.S. 69.
  • A person was arrested for failing to identify -intentionally giving false information in the 100 block of South 27th Street.
  • Terroristic threat of family -family violence was reported in the 3100 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • A dog at large was reported in the 3100 block of Youmans.
  • Two people were arrested on Nederland warrants in the 200 block of South 25th Street.
  • A person was arrested on Nederland warrants in the 1400 block of South Twin City Highway.
  • A death was reported in the 3700 block of Avenue H.

March 10

  • Assault offensive touch -family violence was reported in the 2400 block of Avenue B.
  • Credit card or debit card abuse and burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 3000 block of Lawrence.
  • A dog bite was reported in the 1100 block of Boston Avenue.
  • a person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 1300 block of Ithaca.
  • A person was taken into custody for unlawfully carrying a weapon in the 600 block of North Twin City Highway.
  • A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of North U.S. 69.
